Home prices in Denver metro area including Aurora and Broomfield increased 9.2 % in November 2012 from November 2011 and includes sales of distressed properties by lenders. Without the distressed properties, the increase was 7.7%. Home prices in Denver rose 7.5% nationally in November 2012 from a year ago. This also includes distressed properties and it was the largest increase since May 2006. Mark Fleming, Chief economist for CoreLogic said he believes price gains will continue into 2013.
