More than twice as many million dollar Denver homes sold in July compared to July 2012 which was a 90.4% increase year over year. There were 139 homes sold in July with a sale price of a million dollars or more compared to 73 sold in July of 2012 and a 24% increase from the 112 sold in June 2013. However, the median sale price of luxury homes dropped slightly to $1.3 million compared to $1,317 million in July 2012. Also, in July there were 22 sold luxury homes with a sale price of $2 million or greater, up from 10 sold in July 2012 and the 16 sold in June 2013. Sellers on average got 96.5% of their asking price, up slightly from the 96.2% average in July 2012 and the 95.1% average in June. Average days on the market also decreased to 108 days, down slightly from 110 days average in July 2012 and the 141 days average in June 2013. Denver sold the most with 42 luxury homes sold followed by Greenwood Village at 14, Boulder at 25 and Cherry Hills Village at 13.
