Downtown condo development to be built at Denver’s Union Station. The 19-story, $200 million, 342 condominium project is called The Coloradan and is expected to break ground next summer and will be the first downtown condo development since 2009. The project is located at 1750 Wewatta St., between the train platform and the Whole Foods-anchored Pivot Denver apartment complex. Units will range in price from $250,000 to $3 million. The Coloradan will include 19,000 square feet of retail space and a 452-space parking garage. East West Partners is the developer and GE Johnson Construction Co. will serve as general contractor. The project is slated for completion in 2018 and will also comply with the city’s inclusionary housing ordinance, with 10% of the units dedicated to affordable housing.
